Do no harm is more of a suggestion than an oath, in his opinion. The most important thing to any doctor is that the patient recovers. And no one is better at full recovery than he is. So what if a few ethics are pushed aside in the process. And if someone needs to be removed entirely from his patient's life well, he will ensure that they never show back up. Psychiatry is science, and in science, you always have to experiment.
